EFFECTS OF TODAY’S ECONOMIC CONDITIONS ON CUSTOMER RELATIONS
The economic conditions we are in affect our industry deeply, as it does in all other industries. The sudden fluctuations in the exchange rate affect the costs of our customers who produce and sell for the domestic market, although our products, whose raw materials are completely dependent on currency, do not change on a foreign currency basis. In this case, it is normal for customers to take a stationary position. In the same way, the sales of our customers as final products have also stagnated. I think that when the market conditions stabilize, it will move again.
Our International customers also have different factors. There is an imbalance due to the expansion of the stock caused by the continuation of the pandemic process in Europe, the failure of the requested orders to arrive on time due to the logistics process problems experienced in overseas countries, or the arrival of all stocks at the same time at a certain time. Although the raw material price increases in the world in 2021 affected the markets, the logistics crisis with the Far East turned its directions to our country. We are making preparations to take advantage of this opportunity, but the pandemic process creates some stagnant positions. I am of the opinion that all these will affect us positively in terms of foreign sales in 2022.
